Design Technology Curriculum
Design and Technology plays a vital role in preparing every child for life, helping them develop creativity and problem-solving skills.
At Hope High School, students design and create products that address real-world challenges while considering the needs, values, and preferences of themselves and others. This equips them to contribute meaningfully to today’s technology-driven world. We aim to build a solid foundation of knowledge and skills to design and create high-quality products for diverse users, and encourage critical thinking, evaluation, and testing of their own ideas, products, and the work of others.
We want our students to foster the creative, technical, and practical skills needed for everyday tasks and participation in a technological world. Our workshop offers students hands-on experience and the chance to build practical skills and knowledge. By working on design and build projects, they gain confidence, take pride in their work, and become more independent learners.
