“I think it’s fair to say that personal computers have become the most empowering tool we’ve ever created. They’re tools of communication, they’re tools of creativity, and they can be shaped by their user.”
At Hope High school we deliver Computing in a fun and interactive way to help engage our pupils. Technology is a key aspect of young peoples lives and our aim is to help our pupils develop life skills. A range of computing skills helps our pupils achieve the school aim of learning for life.
We use themed projects during KS3 to cover basic Computing skills. The range of skills covered is varied and cross curriculum. Some of the skills covered include letter writing, budgeting, design and programming. By the end of KS3 pupils are expected to pass Entry level ICT and Computing.
