Hope High School celebrated World Book Day 2020 by dressing up as some of our favourite book characters, whole school read in tutor and engaging in novel based activities throughout the day.
Some pupils from across the school visited Heskin Pemberton Primary School to read to and with pupils from Reception and Year 1 class.
In intervention sessions across the school, book marks, posters and masks were created by the pupils.
There was a prize for best dressed which was a £5 gift voucher

The pupils in KS3 chose some of their favourite pieces of work from Accelerated reading lessons to display for World Book Day 2020
Pupils across the school took part in a Where's Wally hunt. The winner of the large Wally (ironically dressed as Wally) won a large prize!
