On Tuesday 11/6/19 Three of our star readers in Hope High School were invited to Heskin Pemberton CofE Primary School to read to a class of reception children.
Three Hope High Pupils, from across the key stages were invited and read a range of book’s from Heskin’s fabulous library. One pupil took advantage of the school’s reading corner. While two more sat in the library and ICT suite.
Heskin's pupils demonstrated their talents by reading the blurbs of each book independently before settling in for story time.
The boys shared their Accelerated Reader bookshelves with the Heskin pupils so they could see their book quizzes and all their reading books over the past year.
The pupils at both Hope High and Heskin were exceptionally well behaved and thoroughly enjoyed their reading session.
We hope to make this reading adventure a regular activity in both school calendars.
